PRATHAM IMPEX PRIVATE LIMITED was started during the year 2001with primary object to foray into Imports, Exports and Local Government sales.
The company is headed by Mr.Mohan K Hiregoudar and is ably managed by a team of dedicated professionals. Mr.Mohan Hiregoudar is born in a business family and was associated with various supplies to Government Departments.
During the financial year 2001-2002, we made a humble beginning of exporting raw blocks of granites to the tune of Rs.5.35 lakhs.
2002- 2003
The company was able to achieve a good turnover of Rs.105.00 lakhs during this year, a tremendous growth of 1960% by creating three divisions consisting of Health Product Division, Chemical division and export division.
Health Product Division
B Braun Medical (India) Private Limited, a subsidiary of B Braun Melsungen AG, Germany, who are the manufactures of world class health products. Among these products, the
Company has taken the distributorship for Karnataka region for Sutures. The main buyers are major hospitals. We have mainly ventured into Government Hospitals.
M/s. Tyco Health Care (India) Private Limited, a subsidiary of M/s. Tyco International Limited, United States of America is a multi product manufacturing Company. Their products include Electronics, Fire & Security, Health Care, Plastics and Adhesives and Engineering product services. Our Company has taken distributorship for the State of Karnataka for Meshes and Skin Staplers. These products are used for Post Surgeries and are consumed in large quantities in various hospitals. The clients include various Government Hospitals.
Chemical Division
Karnataka Soaps And Detergents Ltd
This company is 70 years old and the proud of Karnataka and the manufactures of Natural Sandal Oil soap, detergents and other products.
We have an immense pleasure being associated with this company by supplying various natural and essential oils like DMO, Clove leaf oil.
Granite Division
The Company was able to obtain Export orders to the tune of Rs.6000 lakhs from China for supply of various types of Raw Granite Blocks like Illkal Red, Ruby Red, SG-2, Black Galaxy. These materials will be purchased from various quarries like Mysore Minerals ltd and others after through inspection and certification by the Buyer Nominated/Authorised inspection authorities. By adopting this procedure the element of risk factor is brought down to nil. These consignments are covered and insured by Export Credit Guarantee Corporation Limited.
Over and above all the Orders will be repeated by the same Buyers.
Future
In this financial year we plan the sale of Health Care products to Rs.50 Lakhs and Chemicals to the tune of Rs.100 Lakhs. Over and above we intent to increase our exports of granites to Rs.360 Lakhs.
Our aim is to increase the turnover from Rs.105 Lakhs to Rs.520 lakhs during this financial year.
The projected growth for the year 2003-2004 is around 500%.
The Balance Sheet, Income Tax Assessment Order and Sales Tax Assessment Order is enclosed for your ready reference for the year 2001-2002.
The Provisional Balance Sheet is also enclosed for the financial year 2002~2003 along with Form 4 of Sales Tax. During the Financial year we propose to make a turnover of Rs.520 lakhs which is inclusive of both domestic and exports.
