Dr.K.Shiva Prasad was started an own Eye Hospital Prasad Eye Hospital on 22nd June 2003, at Hosur Main Road, Bangalore where Phacoemulsification and other Anterior Segment Surgeries are done and giving special concessions to the economically backward sections especially drought hit neighbouring districts of Ananthapur, Kolar and Chittoor. Slowly we wish to see it grow into a small institute within a decade where it can render service to a large section of people.
Dr.K.Shiva Prasad has qualified MBBS from M.R.Medical College, Gulbarga in the year 1992 and D.O.M.S. from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary in the year 1996 and Diplomate of National Board from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in the year 1998.

Attended more than 100 screening camps, having good experience in conducting and organising the camps and performing high volume quality small incision cataract surgery. Can able to perform 60 - 70 operations (SICS) in one day in both base hospital and surgical camps.
Attended surgical camp in Bihar, Madubani - Shankar Netralaya - operated 200 small incision sutureless surgeries in 4 days (from 11th Feb to 14th Feb 2000).
