Nisarga Play Home believes that a good beginning for every child is of great importance. Nisarga gives the head start for the child's physical, cognitive, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth. Its philosophy is based on the following concepts:
Individual Acceptance A child needs to be accepted as he is. Each child is helped to develop his own capabilities at his own pace.
Child-Oriented Environment A child needs to find herself in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where she can explore, share, play, and communicate with other children her own age. Freedom Within Limits A child needs to know that there are limits beyond which he cannot go. He needs order to his day. he also needs freedom in play. His imagination and curiosity need room to wander.
School Experience A child needs to feel that school is a happy experience and tat a teacher is a trusted friend. This will also enable the child to appreciate that the world is a safe and nurturing place.
The Vision To create a place where children discover the best of themselves and those around them and at the same time find the joy of exploring and learning about the earth and its inhabitants.
Admissions Open to all children from age two through kindergarten.
The Campus Started by Ms.Amita Prabhakar, the play home has a wide play area with trees and greenery to keep the children close to nature. |
