Holy Shepherd Education Society (Regd.), Bangalore, is a prestigious Christian Institution, imparting education to all classes of society for the last 39 years.
The Institution was started in the year 1962 by Late Rev.S.Samuel in Byappannahalli, on the out strikes of Bangalore City.
This is an English Medium School, permanently recognised by the Govt. Of Karnataka, following the State Syllabus. We have classes from LKG to X Std. and have produced good citizens in mental, spiritual and physical developments. Our former students have settled in various countries as Doctors / Engineers and Educationists. The teaching staff are highly qualified, dedicated and experienced and in permanent service.
Admission
We admit children from LKG to Standard X every year. A maximum of 40 children per class are admitted in LKG and UKG and 40 to 45 students from Stds. I to Std. X. The children from other countries and other states in India are also given admissions. We are also giving admissions to students coming from CBSe / ICSE syllabus as per rules.
Students from all classes of society are given admission irrrespective of caste / creed / religion and sex.
Fee Structure
All fee are collected as per the Tariff fixed by the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka. Admission Fee other than the regular monthly tuition fee will be collected from every child at the beginning of the academic year which will cover overheads such as Laboratory fee, Sports fee, Library fee, Medical Fee, Reading Room fee, Examination fee, B.L.Association fee, Visual Education fee, Betterment fee, Miscellaneous fee, Education Tour etc. Admissions fee for the next year is to be paid during April only, so as to enable the school authorities to keep seats reserved.
Fee Rules
Tuition fees are charged for all twelve months of the academic year and must be paid. Those who fail to pay their fee within the prescribed time will be fined at the rate of one rupee per working day.
Name of pupils whose fees remain unpaid for more than two months, will be struck off the rolls. If they are readmitted, they must pay all fees and fined due.
Pupils attending school for even a part of a month must pay the tuition and other fees as prescribed.
Fees for the last two months of the academic year viz. the months of April and May shall be paid in advance in the month of April for Primary / Nursery School Students. Similarly tuition fees for the last three months of the academic year for high school students shall be paid in the month of March or earlier.
On no account shall a Transfer Certificate be granted to a pupil who has not paid all arrears of fees including the one for the month in which the TC is to be given.
Fees once paid cannot be refunded if the pupil attends school even for one day.
All fees are to be paid in cash only.
During vacations, the Office is open between 9.00am and 2.00 pm. on all working days.
The Annual school fee for the Nursery and Primary Section
The Annual school fee for the Nursery and Primary Section is inclusive of all overheads and is to paid in 3 instalments during the year.
1st Instalment of fee to be paid by 15th May
IInd Instalment of Fee to be paid by 15th Sep.
IIIrd Instalment of Fee to be paid by 15th Feb. (Next Year)

Registration for Admission
Applications for registration of seats for admission will be accepted between January and April of every year. Admission are subject to availability of seats in each class.
School Timings
For all classes Nursery to Std.X Monday to Friday:
09.15 a.m. to 12.20 p.m. Morning Session
12.20 p.m. to 12.50 p.m. Lunch Break
12.50 p.m. to 03.30 p.m. Afternoon Session.
Teachers and Students must assemble for morning assembly prayer at 9.15 a.m.
Saturday 8.50 a.m. to 11.50 a.m. (Half Day)
Teachers and Students must be present for morning assembly and prayer at 8.50 a.m.
This timing is subject to changes if any by the Education Department in future.
